Did you know that Central Park is not the only “green” place worth visiting in New York City?
The Staten Island Greenbelt is three times bigger than Central Park and offers a variety of possibilities for picnicking or hiking.
The belt also includes Willowbrook Park. To get there fast, we recommend the Staten Island Ferry. The transfer is free and the view of the Statue of Liberty spectacular.
Furthermore, visit the 585-acre Prospect Park in Brooklyn, which was designed by the architects of Central Park. You will find the Prospect Park Zoo here as well as the only forest that has remained in Brooklyn.
